help with part id..

anyone know what this hose is and or what would happen if i block it off on the intake side and just vent it..

Looks like you have some sort of mod going on there. I have a 2000 V6 and do not have that tube at all, although there may have been some changes for the 2001 models that I dont know about. It looks like you are missing the intake silencer box where that green section is.
Where does the tube in question actually go to?
