Can someone tell me whether the tacoma (1995-2000) bushings for the rack are the same as the 4runners (1997)? I always see the bushings for the tacoma on ebay but never for the 4runner. If I ask the sellers they say it will not fit, yet according to other info I've seen online they seem to be the same bushings. However, since some of you have replaced the bushings already maybe you can help me out.

The Rack and Pinion bushings, holding the rack in place.. I think they wear out on a lot of 4runners but a lot of us don't realize it. That was my case, until I drove a runner where the steering would jerk whenever I hit a rut or pothole, so eventually i found out that the rack moves quite a bit when turning the steering back and forth. So then I checked my runner and sure enough, it moves a bit too.
