Help with rattle!

I have a 07 4Runner and there is a rattle in the driver's side door. It feels like it's right in my ear!

When I do hear the rattle, I can push slightly on the door and it stops. I have already taken the door panel off multiple times; I have tightened everything I can. I have made sure the wires are not dangling. I have even replaced the door trim clips.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I am hesistant to take it to the dealer.

that could be literally a million different things

bring it to the dealer..its an 07 nothing should be jiggling around in your door

Well, I took my vehicle in to the dealership to see if they could fix the rattle. They said they insulated the door more. I drive the vehicle and still hear the same rattle. I take it back to them and they said that since I had leather installed (which was by their dealership) I would have to talk to the sales manager (yes, the sales manager). The sales manager said they could have an installer look at it but unless it's a loose bolt, there's not much they can do. The sales manager seemed to be hesitant to even have an installer look at it.

The interesting thing is the service manager said they normally just replace the entire door panel to fix any rattle/squeak problems. Also, I ended up looking to see what they actually insulated and they put a couple pieces of foam underneath the armrest (the one that pops off in like 2 seconds).

Long story short, I have had nothing but problems with this dealership.

I know misery loves company! My 07 also has a very low pitched rattle or vibration coming from the drivers side door. It is not coming from the area where the seatbelt attaches to the body. It's definitely from the drivers door. I'm afraid I'll mess something up if I take the door panel off. So far I'm just living with it! If I have the window down or the radio on I can't hear it. Unfortunately I often drive with radio off for some peace and quite. I've owned 8 new Toyota's since 1992. Both my Tundra's and this 4Runner have had rattle's. That's a little disappointing. My 92 4Wd pickup has been the best of all of them for interior tightness. Of course it was the least expensive. Still a Toyota man though.

Same exact problem with my 07. I really wish someone could figure out exactly whats causing it. It makes me look at the truck as if its a pretty girl with a blemished history. I can never look passed it.

Have you guys had a chance to look at the link above...or do a search...it might help you figure out your rattling problem or point you to a potential cause...
