Hello all, i need help I have a 93 V6 3.0 EFI 4runner and sometimes it will not start only after it has been driven for a bit but always starts when cold (so far). When I turn the key it turns over and sounds like it wants to start but doesn't then I wait 5-10 minutes and it starts no problems.
Also when waiting at a light as soon as I want to go it will stall and do the same thing and will start in 5-10 minutes.
It was taken to toyota and they told me it was a faulty relay under the windshield from water damage and cost me $250 to replace but it was a summer day and no water or rain touched the truck and 30 minutes after leaving the dealership I encountered the same problem.
There are times I will not have a problem for weeks then out of the blue it happens and it is really getting to be a major problem never mind all the people behind me in rush hour when it stalls.
I have a amatuer level of experience with mechanics and a limted money supply and I really need this vechicle to be reliable so any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
