So I am trying to install my lift in my truck today and having a ton of issues. I have the spring and shock all put together and that was nice and easy. I have 2.5 lift springs with top plate. I can't get the shock back in. no matter what I do I can't get the bottom bolt into the shock. The upper control arm hits the spring and I just can't make is happen. Any hints or ideas on why this is happining?

it looks like you've already assembled the strut, what you need to do is use the reverse bottle jack method, take the bottle jack that came with the truck and flip it upside down, but the top end of the jack on the top of the upper control arm and then rest the base of the jack on the upper part of the wheel well. Crank the jack which will lower your shock mount. Put the top end in first and tighten the bolts loosely and keep extending the jack until you can put the mounting bolt in.

be careful the jack can pop out sometimes

Thanks!!!

Thanks guys!! I disconnected the lower control arm and it popped right in. I ****ed around with the first side for almost 4 hours. Second side was a hour and a half start to finish. It was smooth as could be. Thanks for the help!!
