Help… shock won’t go in

OK, so I bought a set of KYB gas adjust front shocks for a 2007 Toyota forerunner I have taken out the XREAS shocks the driver side new shock went in with no problem. But the passenger side shock I can’t get the top three holes to lineup if the bottom is lined up correctly on the lower control arm and vice versa. How do I fix this please

Loosely install the top mount and use a long screwdriver in the lower shock eyelet to rotate the shock to line up with the LCA mount.
