I just spent 900.00 and still running rough when romped, I have a 2000 6cly TRD supercharged I was getting the lean bank{po171} and spark knock pretty bad. took to shop items checked and replaced were 1.both knock sensors,2. fuel filter,3. spark plugs,4. 1&4 cyl coil, 5. plugs, smoke test for vacume leak,cleaned MAF, compression check,fuel pressure checked??? at idle?? im not sure how you check pressure, Ok now,
It runs ok? normal drive but when u romp on it it really strts bucking and looses accel when you let off it returns to normal now when I say Romp i just mean passing gear even, the harder you romp the more it stumbles, the mech crimped the fuel return line and we drove it and the power was much better but still had a slight feel of power loss. where would you blow your money now?? or check. He thought maybe pump and sock?? and if so what brand pump or should i find out which plugs he put in?
someone PLEASE help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You aren't getting enough fuel if crimping the return line helped it. Pump would be a good start, as would removing and cleaning the injectors (witchunter performance). You should also do some research on companies like URD that offer aftermarket parts to fix some of the fueling issues at higher boost levels.

Has it done this since blower install or did it start randomly?
If you're at or near sea level; it is commonly understood the stock fuel system on the 5vz is not adequate for a supercharger, regardless of what TRD says. There is a lot of good info on customtacos.com about supercharged 5vz's.
and as previous poster said; URD makes a lot of good fixes for this.

just started a week or two ago and thanks for all help I have never posted on a forum before so sorry if im not doing it right or putting it in the right place?? toyota dealer told me they couldnt clean injecters because of the super charger ? how do you clean them or do u just replace them?

I will check it out Thanks it sure feels like a fuel problem. could it be just bad gas? any suggestions on which pump to look at? i also have a KN air intake

I understand the walbro 190 pump is the one you want unless you get bigger injectors.
There's no reason you can't clean your injectors. There's only a dozen bolts and a few hoses between you and your injectors, make sure you depressurize the system first(it's easy follow the manual).
1. you can try poor man method first and use seafoam in your intake.
or 2. you can get your injectors cleaned and flow balanced via any number of injector shops you will find online. It will be ~$200. replacing them will run ~$60 a pop.
Your truck WILL run like garbage on bad gas. if it truly is bad gas you must drain it, you can't just keep topping it off.
Are you still getting cel codes?

You arent getting enough fuel at high RPM, you have two options...

-increase fuel delivery. Addition (7th) injector or upgraded 6 injectors with supra injectors. Both of these are available through URD with a new high capacity fuel pump and tuning equipment.

OR

-decrease boost at high rpms. TRD sold a low boost pulley, im not sure where you can get a hold of one nowadays, but less boost at higher rpms will require less fuel and maybe help with this AFR problem.
