Help!

Just got an 05 4runner Sport 4wd with the 4.7l V8. Today when I got out of work, i started the truck up and heard a funny whining noise from what sounded like an electrical motor. The check engine light came on as well as the traction light and the VSC TRAC and VSC OFF lights. The car gave a P2440 code and a P1444. The engine runs ok but the trans has completely changed the shift points etc. When it DOES shift, it is still smooth. Has anyone seen this before?

As for the issue I cant help you based on information provided. You have what seems to be multiple and unrelated issues. And NO I never seen this before.
