I'm new to my 4runner and today I was pushin it pretty hard, sadly I pushed it a bit too far, I ended up smashing my skid plate in and it started leaking a goldish/clear scent less liquid. And also when I start it up a loud grinding sound is made. It went away when I first drove it back from where I had wrecked.
Any ideas on what I damaged and possible repair costs?

I own a 98 4runner limited.

It sounds like you've destroyed the philangey valve, which could run you thousands.

But seriously, with that vague description it's near impossible to say what, much less how much. How about more info and pics.

Yeah sorry about that, I got under the hood and noticed the my radiator was dislodged and pushed back into my fan (which made the loud grinding noise) and the skid plate was smashed up into my lower radiator hose essentially pinching it shut. I would add pictures but my phone camera is scratched up and you can't see anything.
When replacing the radiator I'm going to try to upgrade it if funds permit, do you recommend any brands that are good or any I should avoid?
