Help!

So I am having an issue with my 4runner I have icon coilover with light racing ucas. so when im going down the highway if I go to pass someone and get up around 80 I hear a loud pop on the drivers floor pan and sometimes when it happens the 4lo light on the dash comes on.

What mode are you driving in? Did you disturb anything when you installed your lift that could be causing this?

im driving in 2hi and D and no I don't believe I disturbed anything . everything as far as alignment and cv angles look good and are in spec.

Sorry about not getting much help for your issue.

How long does the light stay on for?

Have you tried exercising the 4WD system in a parking lot to see if that helps alleviate the issue?

Can you make the popping occur at lower speeds when turning?

Did you get a chance to double check and make sure everything is tightened properly?

it will stay on till I shut the truck off or I stop and turn the selector to 4hi and then back. haven't tried it in a parking lot but the 4hi and lo function flawlessly on the trapline never had anyissues.

So does the pop happen when you hard accelerate or when you're turning?

Did you just install the lift?
Did the problem start in near proximity to the lift install?
Did you install the sway bar spacers?
Have you checked for contact between the coils and UCAs (paint rubbed off)?
How many miles on the lift?
Which version of the LR bushings do you have, put another way, how many washers on the UCA bolt?
During install, did you remove and tuck the ABS sensor wire out of the way before disconnecting anything on the spindle?

ok guys so I have the verdict...lazy accuator after hours of reseach I found runners with the same problem most were made from lat 07-09. I took the truck to Toyota and explained the issue the techs drove it and told me they couldn't get the issue to happen. they had done a service and a few recalls while it was there. they checked the computer and found no codes.they said if I came back with it on they could probably see it . so I told the service writer I would be back in 10 mins. long behold 12 minutes and 18 miles later I was pulling back in and the service writer and tech were in awe. we hooked up the computer only to find no codes. so ater showing the tech on the computer the forums and what had been happening they made a ruling that the accuator was lazy and would require a whole tcase overhaul and at that point they said it was cheaper just to replace it. so they are submitting it to warranty for a replacement. meanwhile I sit here right before cat season wondering how I will swing it without a truck. but atleast it will cost only 50 dollars on my end:whoo: it happens under heavy exceleration. the control arm doesn't make contact with anything and the way bar is relocated it.not familiar with what bushings I have I just know that they get noisey when they get used heavily.
