Well this I now my 4-runner. I bought it about 18 months ago because my wife was dying to have a 4-runner. The dealer I worked for at the time dropped the price to 14k with 60k miles on it. I handed them the keys to my wifes car and it was hers. Well about 2 months ago my domestic truck to a crap on me and i was done with domestic vehicles. I was in the market for a new Tundra but I wasnt excited about the price. Although I know its well worth it. Anyway i bought my wife a camry and took over the 4-runner and I love it. There is so much i want to do and now after looking through here so much more i want to do I just don't know where to start. There a alot of awesome rides on here and can't wait to post mine as i get it updated. Here are the pics. It's dirty but Im fixing to be in the mountains so why washi it right?

Welcome to t4r...but be careful..once u start the modding thing and u switch to the "Moding Mode"...its almost impossible to switch back to normal. So expect lots of $$$ spending.:bravo::welcome:

I know I'm well aware of that. Luckily I run a large shop in texas so normally I can get a discount on parts of all kind. I don't have too much longer til I pay it off then will be able to go a bit more crazy. I'll keep ya'll posted.
 
Welcome! I'm on my 3rd 4Runner (6th Toyota) and they're very dependable vehicles. Expect to get well over 200,000 miles with little maintenance compared to your previous domestics.

Yea my last domestic truck had 133000 miles and 4 motors total. very disappointed and a ton of money wasted. Very happy with the toyota's I currently own. The funny thing is the shop I run all the techs only like GM and I'm trying to get them to see that all we wrok on are domestic vehicles. The only reason a toyota is in our shop is for tires or brakes.
 
Good call on the V8, it is basically indestructible if maintained which is only oil and timing belt every 90k. In all honestly though, it is is one of the best engines ever made.
 
Nothing wrong being rear ended as long as they fix it right. But if i was right behind you, i'd be reading 4Runner Toyota vs Toyota 4Runner.

They should be placed lower 2 ...

It could be that it was debadged .

Well now that i think about it the dealer i worked for every car had to be put back to factor spec and i know that on some the emblems were misplaced or put back in the wrong area. But also kinda curious my stinger for trailer is very hard to get in. I have to hammer it in lightly so i kinda wonder if it has been hit. hmm

the exhaust also looks to be hanging a little low
 
i envy the 03 sport forrest green!!!!!!!!!!!! your so lucky... if i was u i would put the toytec ultimate on a custom 2.5" BL, 35's, body mount chop, full skids, schrockworks bumper, rhino line the plastic, and the list goes on hahahaha

Relax - perhaps some realistic suggestions would be more helpful.

That exhaust pipe is not supposed to be that low. As long as nothing leaks, trunk closes etc etc, your fine. 4R's do quite well when hit in the rear.
