My dad almost bought me one just like that for about the same price but without the locker. We sure are glad we didn't because we noticed a output shaft seal on the transmission. That would have been an expensive mistake. Just have to be careful

Is there something difficult about changing the seal on a 4Runner? I've never did it on a Toyota but have on many other makes. On most transmissions it's a simple and inexpensive job.

It could have been just fine with changing out the seal, but the output shaft bearing could have been worn too and that means a whole rebuild.
