hesitation or surging

I recently bought a 95 4runner 5 speed and it hesitates / surges when I'm accellerating slowly. It mostly seems to do it shortly after startup, not much after I've been driving it. Any ideas where to start? Thanks.

Have you tried replacing Plugs,wires,cap rotor? I recently had an Oxygen sensor cause some hesitation and surging. Do you have any malfunction codes?

No, I haven't had the time to check out the parts. Also, new parts don't fit in the budget yet. I don't have any codes flashing. Do you know which ports to jump in the diagnostic box under the hood? I know sometimes the codes don't show up until you jump the box. Thanks.

and log in as :user passwork is assword

go to the bottom of the pare and clikc auto mechanics... somehting like that and look threw stuff for u car... it helps me alot!
