I'm trying to do the 2006 HID projector assembly swap to my '04, I read most of the threads of mlopez61 and was able to buy a pair of the 'headlights' from ebay for 49.95 each. Now, my next step was to have the fillers (52512-35090, 52513-35090) that go underneath the assembly and the wiring harness for the DRLs (81125-35440). I checked online and local dealers for the best prices and came up with different results. I had trdparts4u to be the cheapest(as far as i know). Then i saw one article not from our forum that he did the same upgrade with his 03 and stated where he went to buy the parts. I checked with them too before i pulled the deal with trdparts and i was surprised with their prices. This is a legit Toyota dealer in California. It's Northridge Toyota Scion. I inquired with Carrie Calkins of parts dept.(the person the guy said he talked to and she was very nice and accomodating) and gave me the prices which were comparable to trdparts4u....so i was not really impressed.... then i asked her about shipping(coz usually thats where they get you) and she said..........it's FREE! I was like what?!? Yup...its free as long as it was within U.S. To make the long story short.... i went ahead and pulled the deal with them. They take paypal payments too if you dont like doing transaction through phone. But that would be an extra 4% for paypal fee.
Now, she said she'll do fedex...probably Saturday i'll have them parts.
