Hey everyone,

Name is Greg, 22 years old and am currently located in MA but moving to GA in a week. I am looking into possibly purchasing a 2010 4Runner Trail Edition soon so I have been researching the car, etc. I'm a member on a few different forums but found myself coming here as of the recent. I have two cars; 2002 Toyota Celica GT-S and a 2007 Honda Civic 4dr. The 4Runner Trail Edition I am looking into buying will be replacing my honda civic daily driver. I enjoy skiing, mountain biking, being in the outdoors etc so I feel the 4runner may be the right car for me to be able to haul all my stuff around. For those of you that are FL residents and have attended HIN (hot import night) auto shows, you may have seen my celica or some of you guys may have seen its various features. I am a graphic designer and had designed my own wide body kit and then had it hand made. The car has various sponsors such as: - Toyo Tires - TRD (Toyota Racing Development) - 5Zigen - DuPont Paints - Phoenix Gold Audio - Automotive Progression - CiNcity Designs - Teamtech Motorsports - Braille Batteries - PPE Engineering.

Anyways, I just wanted to say hey to everyone and I'll be sure to keep you updated if I purchase the 2010 4Runner Trail Edition and if I do I'll be sure to attend some car meets.

Thanks for the compliments. Funny you mention that lol, that has been one of the possible ideas out on the table - taking the early 90s alltrac 3sgte motor and converting it to awd. In like a year I'm gonna roll it out of the garage and start doing some more to it.

As I had mentioned before, I love being outdoors, skiing, biking, etc. Well one of the big reasons I am interested in a new 4Runner is because I am taking a new job down south in GA and so I could still go do the things I love with this car. While working in new england, I always had the availability of being able to borrow my parents GX470 if I was going anywhere that called for a car to be able to go off the charted roads. Here is a pic I took a couple weeks ago down in the woods that I thought you guys might like:

the 3sgte with the alltrac sound like it'll be a fun ride. throw in some turbos and a short throw and it'll be ripping in snow for sure.


alternatively you could try dropping a 2jz into it and see what happens :lmao:

titan motorsports did a celica with a 2jz-gte that does the quarter mile in the low 6's. sounds like it'd be a nifty project. an 800hp celica would be a monster sleeper to drive around
