Hey guys ,i've been lurking around quite a bit searching on common issues and what to look for when buying a 3rd gen.I just picked up my truck yesterday !It's a 5spd ,3.4 2000 all stock with 265/75/16 wrangler territory tires.

I'm fairly mechanically inclined and I also do some minor fab work.This is my first true 4x4 , i've owned two honda crv's (still own one) and also a skyline r32 gt-r single turbo fully built by me and last but not least my turbocharged 90' miata.

I hope to learn a bit more about these amazing trucks!Already looking for some OMEsprings to get her up a bit, the tires rub when its being articulated.

Sounds like you're in for a treat! This 4x4 is one of the easiest vehicles i've worked on since my 60's GM habit, when I was a teenager! Yes, we have all the electronics etc etc but most structures and electrical is laid out in a generally straightforward, logical and accessible manner.
