traded my 02 saturn for a 98 4runner limited in black. can honestly say i wont be getting rid of this any time soon. best truck ive ever driven and i love the fact of the rear electric locker aside from a taco its the only 4x4 besides the new rubicon with the ability to lock the rear at the push of a button. and the interior and exterior are emmaculate at 69,000 mi. out of 4 vehicles in 5 years this is by far the best ive driven. i look forward to learning alot here, my goal is to mildly lift the truck for 33" tires and keep it looking classy.

jus wanna say hi to all

good call on the runner. and even better, in black :D

you're lucky to have the locker already. my 02 didn't offer one, but i plan on getting an arb locker in the next few months.

A few more to your short list: Mercedes G500/55 (front & rear lockers), Hummer H2 (rear only), and Touareg (rear only; at least in the near future it will have it). Rubicon, of course, can lock front and rear.

wonder how many mercedes or vw will ever see off road ? i wouldnt be suprised to see a h2 off road though. i bet most cases the benz or vw end up family cars.

Technically, the 4th gen does come with a Torsen electronic locking rear diff- just not in the USA.
Woodbert has a Japanese one with the locking rear diff.

Maybe they will offer it in the next "update" in a year or 2.
