Forum is great. When a VW GTI guy, loved getting advice from other owners. For the last three years running an 05 Pilot that I inherited. Great car for zipping around the city, meeting with clients (I do private contract case management/social work) getting groceries, moving furniture, etc. But the wild is calling. I wanted something more badass and even though the runner is smaller on the inside, when I drove one I was hooked. I love Landcruisers and wranglers and rovers and scouts and any car that can take you off the path and on a serious adventure. I'm intrigued by the runner quality, longevity and "overbuild."
Been creepin around for a bit, been looking at cars at dealerships and on craigslist, and I thought it was that time I said hi. These are three cars i'm considering.
First, pretty much dream car. Super well maintained 4th gen limited black not too high miles

Saw this one last night. Impressed by the interior and I loved the ride but I looked under and saw a good amount of rust. Guy tried to claim that it was mostly cosmetic. I got the feeling that it had been looked at by a few people and passed but I've been reading about rust treatments and then that with the great mechanic that I have maybe it could be a good deal. Maybe im deluding myself
