*SOLD* Seiko Orange Monster, And Problematic Black Monster
For sale is my trusty Orange Monster. It has been bead blasted, along with its Anvil bracelet. The bead blast was done by myself in a professional shop. I used a slightly coarser media than is normal for watches- it is what's used on high end custom knives. I think it looks amazing, it has a luster to it.
The watch also has Plongeur hands, installed by Motor City Watch Works. It also has a transparent caseback, bought from Yobokies, and tested on the watch for proper water resistance by MCWW.
Included with the watch are several straps- The original rubber Seiko strap, two NATO straps, and a NBR rubber dive strap with metal keepers, also bead blasted. It looks great on the watch!
The box, manual, extra links, original hands and caseback are also included. The extra links and caseback are not blasted. But any blaster worth his salt can do it to match the watch.
The watch keeps great time, and the lume is outstanding as can be expected. I honestly wouldn't be selling this, but I really need to save up for more expensive stuff.

Next up is my Black Monster. It was going to be a project watch. It has been bead blasted the same way as my Orange Monster. The enamel has been removed from the bezel. I was going to lume it, but I think it looks pretty good as is, so I left it alone. It has White/Orange Plongeur hands, installed by Motor City Watch Works. The caseback and crown gaskets are new, also installed by MCWW. It is on a rubber strap. Included is the box, manual, and original hands. The lume is outstanding.
I'll also throw in an old OM dial. The dial has some light marks on some of the lume, maybe you want to fix it up or something.
On to the problem- The watch performed great until recently. For some reason, the second hand gets stuck going from 37 to 38, regardless of where the other hands are. Sometimes it gets past it, sometimes it stops. I don't have the time or the funds to spare to figure out whats wrong with it.
