Hey, Ya'll! from Mississippi

Tuesday, May 11th may just be one of the most bittersweet moments of my life... Yes, I traded in my 2001 Toyota MR2 Spyder for a 2004 Toyota 4Runner. I'm going to miss the insane handling and gas mileage (not to mention the standard transmission), but I'm going to LOVE taking my T4R through the river, over the woods, and over that annoying curb between two parking lots... (Plus, I've been averaging 23.0 mpg for the past 500 miles, according to the onboard computer, so it's not too bad.)
So, I've been lurking here since I bought it, but now I've finally registered! I look forward to calling this forum "home", and can't wait to share my stories with the family!

Ha ha! That is very true, and half the reason I traded mine in...

I'd love to do a lot to the 4Runner, actually, but with all the school I've got coming my way (read: all the debt) I'm going to have to hold off on really having fun with it. Plus, I'm enjoying it so far as-is; MS doesn't really have that many big hills, and the 2wd is really fun to sling around off road rally-style. A bull bar would be a good investment, though: people around here really like to "bump" park...
