Hi and Why!!

Hi, I just bought my first 4runner a month ago, a 98 manual (now appropriately named Manuel). I do ALOT of road trips, put 30k miles in 18 months on my last car, and I did alot of research before deciding on a 4runner. I'm so glad I found this forum, it was a great help in making my decision!
That's the hi, now the why! Why can't I see alot of the pictures in this forum? It shows either a little white box with a red x or a "photobucket" ad.

Thats because some people, instead of downloading a picture directly from their computer to this site, post a link to their Photobucket account, or something similar. Problem is, when that account is closed for some reason, the link is lost, therefore, no picture!

I prefer to post directly from my computer. That pic is there forever unless an administrator deletes it for some reason.

I get the same thing but that is because my network administrator blocks sites like Photobucket in order to protect bandwidth. If I need to look at a pic in a link I wait to view it on my home computer and they usually work. Welcome to the Forum.
