Just wanted to introduce myself by first saying thank you to all the members of this forum for sharing photos, stories, and build ups! Forums are my favorite source of first hand information and helped me start my first business Blazen Off Road LLC. Unfortunately Blazen is no longer due to the recession in 2009 and a wonderful Divorce! Kept the ex's truck I built for her through the settlement.
Anyways I searched long and hard for the 96-97 Manual with the rear locker, only to be laughed at by dealerships and told it was a unicorn and I would never find one. Long story short I bought two unicorns in one day, my ex-girlfriend bought an 85 runner with EFI and solid axle with 122K miles for $2800 right down the street in Tahoe. And then drove to Santa Cruz and bought my Black Unicorn on Father's day. $5600 or $6200 and he through in the brand new Warn M8 in the box. Only needed a bumper to rest in.
Bought the rig for my old dog Lily to have much needed room, unfortunately she has passed. Anyways my new dog Onyt is filling her paws. Let the expedition rig build begin. New post started in 3rd gen
