Hi people, new 4runner owner here

My name is Matt. I bought a 2003 SR5 4runner a few months back and thought it would be a good idea to intro myself.

first off I love the 4runner, it's my first "big" car (I've only ever had little sports cars) but I really like it. I bought it with under 50,000 miles on it and it's in really good shape so far.

Other than that I live in the bay area (california) and work as a web developer/marketing specialist and also DJ at local lounges/clubs a few times a month.

Welcome to the board! A 2003 with less than 50K is very low mileage. What kind of sports cars did you have before the 4Runner?

yeah I bought it with 49,xxx miles from the original owner so I lucked out. I think I've only put a few thousand miles on it since I bought it.


Me and the pops restored a 340 4 barrel 69 dodge dart. The thing rediculous. That much weight + that much power = crazy

I then bought a little 4th gen prelude which was my "fun" car. I did all sorts of dumb mods, nitrous + engine work. I still have it and it's actually a really fun car to drive.


here is a picture of the 4runner before I got new rubber for it...I know it's not as cool as 99% of the ones I've seen on this forum.
