Hey everyone, had a 93 a while back, just picked up a 99, lots of useful info found here already! I miss sitting on the tailgate on my 2nd Gen, but like the rain cover the rear hatch on the 3rd Gen makes.

Currently sorting out a Check engine light, seized e-brake (off position) and braking vibration (mal-adjusted rear brakes causing too much braking up front???) THEN COME THE MODS!

21 Questions! :lmao:

Do those tubes help with buoyancy?

Do the wheels attach to the tubes to help move?

Are those just simple handles on top of the tubes or does something attach to those to lift them up or connect them?

More questions to come after those are answered.

Welcome!! :hello:

If only mike knew there was 450 lbs of straight barbell weights under those cases! That's part of the puzzle! And it seems rear sag isn't a problem on this rig considering there's 800lbs in it. I am going to do this to it 3 days a week, it's why I bought it. Do you guys think the last owner did something out back to raise it up? How do I tell?
