Hi-Po V6 project in 2nd gen 4runner

I'm about to start a full hi-po engine rebuild project. I'm planning on cams, headers, new dual exhaust and some suspension work.

Any body want to chime in before I buy parts. I will keep all up to speed with pictures as I go.

Do you know any details of this conversion to a 3.4
Wiring? Computers?

Is the motor a direct bolt in?
Doesn't the 3.4 have a very different induction system?

there are a few write ups one step back though is either going divorced transfer case or switching the front drivetrain to driverside drop.... to do divorced you need the prerunner auto trans and a divorced spline for the transfer case. and as for the engine you will need it the entire harness and computer. check the marlin board and also ttora for some writeups on the conversion. If I remember right the adapter plate or even the trans you currently have may be a direct bolt on. just don't quote me on that...

Is it unwise to put an air intake, 3.5 in exhaust pipe, free flow muffler and bigger catalytic converter with to 3.0 engine? If so why?
