HID Fog Lights

Now that is more the answer that I was looking for. Maybe unpopular to have a yellow tint to hids but safety should come first.:thanks:

That is against your rights to make you get out of the car, open the hood, etc. You can ask "Is there a reason you want to search my car?" and you do not have to step out, no matter how much they threaten you. You have more rights than you think. It's like if they pull you over, you don't have to take a breathalyzer test or a field sobriety test. You can simply say no. Like I said, if they see tints, or something similar, that's different.

OP, I had 6000K HIDs in low beams and fogs in my old 2003 4Runner, both performed great and I never had visibility issues in snow, fog, rain, etc.

Yes halogen projectors are different than HID projectors. And no I wouldn't recommend 6,000K lights because they're approaching the blue spectrum where the usable light output drops off. I run 3,000K HID's in my fog lights.

I don't know, I don't run them on public streets or when it's not raining or foggy (which actually happens a lot here).

Nor do I have vehicle inspections of any sort since it is registered in Florida.

You don't have the right to decline a breathalyzer test or field sobriety test without recourse. You will be arrested still and possibly face charges similar to a DUI of you were driving.

as far as ive heard roadside NJDMV inspections fall under the "special needs exception" eitherway im done with this. goodluck

They can't charge you for DUI if they don't have proof (failed breathalyzer or field sobriety test). Yes, they can arrest you but you would win the case. I'm not saying you can't be charged with reckless driving or something similar.
