Yup very mixed so I went with Volt from kbcarstuff. They were on sale and if your savy enough to Google for a discount code it's a sizable amount. I got mine for $80ish out the door and I couldn't be happier.

DDM would be your best bet. If your not in a rush you could save up. They're always having some kind of sale and the discount code is readily available too. Good luck.
My guess is he wants cheaper.. He mentioned trying to find cheaper than DDM... DDM is about the same as all those chinese eBay kits.

i paid $120 for both low beams and fog lights from HID Kit Warehouse Xenon HID Kits Bulbs Wholesale
that included slim ballasts and lifetime warranty. haven't had a single problem with them yet and super bright.

Haven't had any problems so far, only been a few months, a lot of my friends have them and haven't had issues, only downside is shipping takes a little longer than most, about two weeks depending where you're at

DDM kits ARE china kits! They get shipped directly from China!
Here's my experience with DDM:
many of my friends installed their HID Kits on their cars maybe 3-4 years ago and raved about how great they were at the price. So when it came time for me to get some, I got the DDM kits.
Upon arrival, my friends all mentioned how the quality of the product was nowhere near what they had in their cars. Their DDM kits were still running strong after all these years and the ones I got, the lights would hardly stay on, resulting in what seemed like broken headlights, when in reality, it was just a shitty ballast.
After a couple months, I threw out the DDMs and bought the Volt Kits, havent had a problem with those at all. Highly recommend spending a bit more so you don't have to keep trying to "fix" the shitty ballast just so your headlights will stay on.
So yes, I do think the DDMs are good for the price, but you get what you pay for. It seems that when they first started out, they shipped out higher quality goods to draw buyers in and build a reputation and over time, their quality when down once they got their name out there, so now they're attempting to sell the name rather than a good product. I'd suggest to stay away!

Hey there- I've bought a couple hid kits from DDM. First set I bought, correct color/ kit, worked for 1+ years( sold that car with kit still in it). 2nd kit I bought from DDM, they sent we the wrong color( ordered 4300k, got 6000k. Whatever, kit was already installed- didn't feel like taking them out. My buddy most recently bought 2 headlight hids, and 2 fog light hids from them at the same time- they sent him 4 varying colors... He wasn't happy.

At the end of the day, it's going to be up to you, but like another member mentioned here, you will get what you pay for. Some members have had great experience with them, others have not. Now with morimoto's from theretrofitsource you will hear nothing but great things. DDMs are simply cheap made eBay style systems, not that eBay is always bad, but it is not always great. I've had zero complaints with Morimotos in the past. They have high quality HID systems. Here is a great video that explains the differences between cheap made vs high grade HIDs ballast, they both work, but performance is slight differently:

But if you are on a budget, I supposed DDMs will do just fine.... for now.
