HID lights

I am thinking hard about ordering the 4300K kit for my 07 4Runner but had a question on the 3000k fog kit. Do any of you run this combination and care to comment on it? I would just get white for the fogs too but in real fog the yellow is prefered so i hear. Id hate to buy that only to find out its not really worth it.

On another note have any of you used the light kit on a offroad spot or flood light? seems like that would be a cheaper alternative to the offroad HID lights out.

Man.... guess there less people out there running the HID's afterall. I know some of you have them so please give me some details on if this is worth it or not.

Also have any of you ventured in for a dealer service and had any comments twards a voided warranty? Im just curious how hard they really look durring an oil change etc.

I just got the 3000k HID kit for my fogs installed and I think they look great. Weather was foggy this morning and I drove with just the fogs on and they gave me great visibility. Heres what the set up looks like on my rig:

I have an 08 running 5k lows and 3k fogs. the yellow fogs work pretty well in the weather we have here in the NW (fog, rain and snow all in the same day). here is a quick pic.

I doubt they will check all over your engine bay during an oil change.
