Hi,

I might be very interested, how much for the lights.
Are these from a 2006?
do you also have the trim pieces from the bottom of the headlight.

Yes these are for 2006+

the bottom piece you referring to is not part of the headlight. its on all 2006 or newer 4Runners.

I am not sure how much I want to sell them for yet, but just give you an idea the projectors alone is nearly $400 usd

I might be interested, although I didn't realize the projector was that kind of money.
What are you using for the top cover of the projector?
Maybe you could do a write up of your build for those of us who are still learning. It would be great to pick up some pointers from someone who did such a great job.
I just bought a pair of 06 headlights that I plan to put in my 03 galactic gray limited, so if anyone out there has the small plastic bits that fit under the headlight and wants to sell them, I would be interested. The stealer wants $60 each...ouch.

A write up would be hugely appreciated.

Yeah, the LS430 projector is basically the best single xenon projector that money can buy.

I did not do this retro myself and I wouldn't because it is very easy to mess up the headlights or the projectors if you do not know what you doing. This require a lot of cutting and trimming on headlights/projectors, very very time consuming. However if you want to learn you can visit http://www.hidplanet.com/forums and start from there.

If your headlights are off an SE and if in excellent condition. I will consider trade + money. as for those plastic piece have you try looking at www.partznet.com or www.toyotaoemparts.com their prices are normally 20-30% off MSRP

Just an FYI, if you are going to install these 06 housings into an 03-05 like I did when I did my retrofit (I used RX350 projectors) be sure to order the clip as well as that bottom trim piece. Its a separate part and you need it otherwise the trim piece won't fit properly. I ordered everything from partznet and they painted that trim piece to match my GG exterior.

I don't think that I ended up taking any pictures actually. From the outside, you can't tell the difference between my housing and any other 06's as my projector was the same size as the one I took out so I didn't need to modify the asthetics. I did change the way the projector sits in the housing so that I could reuse the rubber boot in back to ensure no condensation. Otherwise, just from looking at it, it looks a lot like these ones. As far as light output, looks very similar, although not as wide as the LS430 projectors, but I did the washer mod so I get a lot more color flicker than what's in these pictures. I also screwed around with the squirrel finder so I have zero light above my cutoff.
