HID vs LED for Headlights

Let me explain a bit further as I don't think you understood MY point.

I wasn't debating the housing design specs. Neither you nor I know the original design specs for the headlight housing, unless you have the inside scoop and work for Toyota. And that really isn't the issue.

What IS the issue is if HIDs will work in the housing and how well they work, right? Again, my point is that looking at the light output for the Subaru OEM HID vs my 2014 4Runner with Xenon HIDs, you can hardly tell the difference. The only difference being mine is a bit brighter (thanks Phillips bulbs..).

I'll quote your original - "So people complaining that our projectors can't handle HIDs don't know what they are talking about."

And I'll quote my response to your quote - "No one said that our projectors can't handle HIDs."

I went further to explain but that's on me. My bad for explaining.

You you're just going to ignore that you then followed up with this?
"I'll explain why our projectors are not designed for HID use and the differences as best I can"

As I said, you haven't a clue what the original specs were, and neither do I so I'm not going to debate it. You're speculating and arguing a point that doesn't matter.

Once again, they perform just as well as other HID projectors that are OEM. That is the only thing people should be concerned with.

I didn't ignore anything - I said "I went further to explain but that's on me. My bad for explaining."

SO MY BAD. Get. a. clue.

I am curious to see if anybody here are running HIDS in their factory fogs? I ran them for 2 minutes and realized that it would melt the plastic glass and swapped them to Leds. lol
