Hidden Garmin GPS?

FourRunner2005

I have a 2005 4Runner with factory stereo non-RDS doube din. I mount my Garmin 1490T all the time on the top dash with the sticky circle plastic plate they gave me and it works great, but when I have to get out of the car, I have to put it all away or i run the risk of someone trying to break in to steal it. Is there a way to conceal the traffic receiver charge cable cord and the Garmin so that I can just close a lid or hide it from sight?

Also, is there a way to get more than one DC outlet? I have one of those things that splits into two, but I was wondering if there's a DYI on expanding this in some way or another. Thanks!

Haven't seen anyone do a hidden GPS but search for 12V outlets for several ideas on extra outlets (or check the link in my signature for how I did it.)
