hid's and leds

if you guys read my previous post, guy said '06 taillights will not work on my '05.. different connectors, different form, yadda, yadda... told him just give me the part...

here it is... my '06 taillights on my '05 along with leds from v-leds on my plates... and my 6000k headlights and fogs... i also have leds on my stepboards and side doors..

Did you buy Ebay LED tail assemblies or OEM? Some day pics of the rear lights installed if they are Ebayers would be great ! Thanks in advance.

Hey man, the pics look great! I love the look of the '06-'08 LED tails, not to mention the vled plate lights. Just a really clean look. We have the same set-up in the back of our 4th Gens. Here are the licence plate vleds that I went with (thanks Fo SheeZy :cool: ) http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/...hite-LED/2-HID-WHITE-HIGH-POWER-p4481133.html

Your HID's look awesome too. I know I'm going with the 6k's in the lows but I'm torn between the 6k or 3k in the fogs. If ya dont mind me asking, where did ya order your HID's from?? Thanks for the pics!
 
Whoever told you the +06 LED tails wouldn't fit on the 03-05 4Runner's isan't to bright.. lol there's got to be at least 20 or more members on here that have done this mod! Along with the LED tail bulbs which look great! :bigok:
 
What bulbs are you using in the corner lights? (the bulbs above the reflector in the headlight housing) Could you point me in the direction where to buy them?

Great pics too! Getting my pilots license is definitely on my life's to-do list.

all my leds are from vleds... the corner lights are the old 6 leds type... the licence plate leds are the newer chip led and is more brighter...

good luck on getting your pilot license...

thanks.. the hids were from an ebay seller.. they are the bosch brand.. lucky the seller lives 5 miles from me.. so i did a COD and never went thru ebay... if you are going to put hid in your fogs, just go with 6000k as well, stock hid's are 4300k so why would you go any lower than that..

the lower you go in K value the more light output you have. 3000K in fogs its probably best for driving in rain or fog. I have 4500K just to match my lows

got mine thru ebay.. but did a local pick-up in orange county.. couldn't wait :D ... i know a place where you can get a generic one (oem replacement)... couldn't tell the diff.. if you wanna save up on some dough, let me know.. i believe it's made by eagle eyes, i compared it with mine and they look exactly the same...
