I was just informed that my 6000K HID's should be here Monday. I'm just doing the low beams right now and I'll do the fogs soon after. I think I'll be installing them next Sunday. Pics to follow... :bluejump:

just did mine with 6000k
took all of 10 mins to install them ..

they look sweet ..

same set in my fogs of my dodge 1 ton that have been in the over 3 yrs with no issues ..

my set was $35 on ebay i have the same set on my Yamaha rhino too and it gets smashed around the trails with no issues ...

and they look rad on my 2011 limited 4runner !!!

45k hid's was the first mod i did. cant stand them halogens anymore. hi/low combo for something like $55 lifetime warranty.

took a while to install because its more tedious to run wires and ground stuff.

My girlfriends father is helping me install them. They're the same set he used so it should go fairly smoothly.

Did you guys get projector housing or just use the stock headlights? I always wanted to do this but didn't think it was a good idea w/o projectors. No? I would love it if someone would post pics on how to install as I am a complete amateur to this stuff...

i just used the OEM housing. its not a 5th gen tho.

i got mine from DDMtuning. i live near them so returning it if something's wrong wont be a problem.

the install is pretty much straight-forward installing the hi/low combo. the kit i got uses only 1 headlight plug from the car's harness.

I think most people just use the OEM housings. Mine were ordered from xenonhidworlds.com I believe. He ordered his from there a few years back and said he hasn't had any problems. Not sure about a price tho, they were a b-day present. Eventually, I think I'm going to use the same for the fogs
