high beam switch wiring

I need help finding the wire that goes from the high beam switch to the high beams. I am wiring driving lights, and when I tapped the Positive at the high beam itself, the driving lights came on with the low beams. I couldn't figure out why, but I thought that if I could tap the high beam at the switch, it would work. I know some folks have gotten in the steering column while wiring their fog lights to work with the high beams. Does anyone know what I need to do?

you could get a highbeam pigtail set, and let the existing harness handle powering both the highbeams and the aux. lights at the same time. This gives you a little less flexibility, as its all or nothing, but probably the simplest solution.

Otherwise, you'd need a switch and a relay inline.
