I am now the proud owner of a 2007 4X4 4Runner with a V-8. The only port installed option on my truck is the rear spoiler, which has a brakelight in it. Apparently they use the wiring from the high mounted brakelight above the liftgate to wire the one in the spoiler. Now the light assembly above the gate itself is loose and falls out of the hole. The spoiler is mounted close enough to keep it from falling out completely. The owners manual shows a couple screws to turn to lock the light assembly above the gate in place, but mine does not have these screws or screw holes. I pushed the light assembly back into it's hole and it appears to be staying for now. Does anyone know of the correct way to secure it in place or does it just sit in the hole? I really don't want to take it back to the dealer!
