Highest Mileage 4th Gen?

I hit the 300K on a 6K trip a few weeks ago. Still runs perfectly.

Hey guys been a long time lurker and reader. Owned an 06 SR5 v6 a few years ago and am wanting another 4th gen, but with a V8.

I found a decent looking 04 v8 near me with some nice upgrades. Ironman coils with UCA, BMC done, front bumper/winch and 35's already.

My main hesitation is it has 245k on it and it doesn't sound like he has a ton of records for it....

Just looking for advice I am going to look at it this weekend....

Another thing I noticed is the doors say Sport Edition, but it has leather interior and doesn't have a hood scoop....

Do sports ever come with leather or are they all cloth? He explained to me why it doesn't have the hood. The car fax on it is actually clean and there are service records on it.

You should be able to look up the VIN and it'll tell you. No Sports came with leather but I don't recall if it was an option to add it.

I think you may have to sign up for a Toyota account but once you do, you can enter the VIN and get details on the vehicle. You can also get a build sheet with pretty much everything you could ever want to know but IIRC, you have to contact Toyota customer service to ask for that.

If you prefer not to get an account, PM me the VIN and I'll send you the results.

Oh, and why doesn't it have the scoop? Hood replacement?

The hood was damaged when something fell on it and it was replaced with a matching silver standard hood. Bluesky 07 I sent the VIN thank you!

The VIN you sent didn't come up. Can you double-check it or send the Carfax? I PM'd my email address.

I still own a 2004 Sport v8, bought brand new. Fabric seats w/JBL package+.

My brain seems to recall there were leather seats available at the top end of the Sport version option tree. But I didn’t want leather seats living in a very hot Arizona. Did a good bit of research before buying my Sport with the option packages I wanted.

Then again I don’t always trust my brain. So I could be completely wrong here.

Well everything checked out and I took it home. Couldn’t pass it up for the price. So glad to be back in a 4th gen!

My 2007 SE finally hit 50K this last weekend. I am almost 70 and retired. Millage moves pretty slow this days. Moving to the PNW required a Toyota 4WD.

Wonder if there's a still-functional 4th Gen on the planet with lower mileage.

I am the second owner of my 2005 sport edition and have all the service records and books from day one and I have updated as I service it, here's the kicker the guy ordered it with leather interior from the dealer and it has the scoop.

06 Sport V8 4WD

Just turned 190K - but it became a totally new driving experience around 185k after replacing the manifolds with DT LT's & Y pipe and getting the YotaWerx tune.

:D

Ol’ Red my 08 V8 rolled 310k and is the best vehicle I’ve owned. Anyone have ideas on cost estimate to refresh her suspension, ball joints etc? Plenty of rattles from all the shit roads but she tracks down a smooth highway like new. Only used as a daily driver, thanks.
