For the really high mileage 4runners (200k+) how often did you change the belt and water pump? Did any of you wait past 150k to have it done?

154k still original belt and water pump, as far as I know, will be changing by the end of the end of the year.

2004 SR5 Mileage
Bought new, have a little over 226K. No motor work ever (knock on wood). Have used Mobile1 from day 1. I do have a recent issue, which is why I logged back on but it is not motor related. I have noticed some water in the driver's side floorboard. No recent rain. From what I have read thus far, I am hoping it is a clogged drain hose and not the heater core. Any advice with respect to this would be appreciated. I should admit that the majority of this mileage is highway miles...my ex used to drive 50+ miles a day to and from work. She took me for the house and most everything but I did get the paid off 4Runner. Screw you, *****! It's all I need! :happens:

I know Toyota can last forever!!!! We had a 86 Camry that we abused, didn't changed the oil, oil filter maybe once a year. Didn't do ANY maintenance on her, we were young and dumb. At 256,000 she said no more and died :cry2:
Now that I'm older and have grown up….I enjoy taking care of my truck. After seeing the mileage in your pictures I can't wait to post up mine at 300,000 in a few years!! For now she has 160,000……Props to Toyota for making a fine automobile :drum:

Looks like you are 4wd. Are you on your original actuator? Is it leaking? Does it work?
Reason why I'm asking is I'm seeing a lot of actuator threads lately and curious if yours is functional and not leaking at 500k miles!

2003 Sport V-8 with 209,000. Bought it with 59,000 and the whole way home thought "What have I done? I just bought a used car with 59,000 miles on it!" Little did I know that it was just getting broken in. Just replaced the original battery last spring. Biggest hassle has been sticking calipers. Absolutely great vehicle!
I have an 2005 Limited with the v6 and we have 116k on it. I did the 2.5/1.5 and tires at 75k and I just had to do front wheel bearings. They were just starting to make some noise but I'm a little OCD with that stuff. I have also replaced the front calipers and done brakes front and rear. Other than normal fluid changes (Engine Oil, Axles, Transfer case,Brake fluid, and Power steering) its been a great car. I plan on having this for a long time to come so I try to keep it as nice as I can. I now have to get the timing belt done but that will be my spring project!

141,000 on an 05' limited. Runs like the first day it rolled off the lot. All we have done is fluid & brake changes.

Hello, I am at 156k and still runs and drives great, new brakes, fluids, cv shafts and Bilstein 5100's and new rear 2.5 lift springs, next up is the timing belt and water pump changes....Living in CNY,,,,,, all wheel drive is a wonderful thing..
