Highest Mileage 4th Gen?

My 2003 Limited now has 299,300 miles with a trip next week. It will go over 300,000 before I get back. (Hopefully):

I'm currently past 131k miles and had a few question for you higher mileage owners:

1) How often did you change your fluids - ATF, brake fluid, power steering fluid, coolant
2) If you changed out your bushings, at which mileage did you do it and how much did it cost?
3) Did your brake master cylinder fail? And at how many miles?

I still have not done/changed out: timing belt, Power steering, ATF, & brake fluid. Just need to find the time to get all of it done... hopefully before winter comes.

Yes I'm still on stock converters and o2 sensors.

Wow, I was just starting to get worried about the 152,000 on my V8! I'm at a crossroads because I use it as my commuter, putting way too many stupid highway miles on it. I was thinking of selling it, or keeping it and doing all the mods I have always wanted to do. But, the high mileage made me worry about investing the money. I guess its not so high after all!

'06 4R SR5 2WD with 148k miles. Only acceleration difference because of the lift but so far going strong. Heard you can get up to 500k if you treat it right and do frequent oil changes [emoji16]

This. 100% this... I have 85k on my 08 sr5 V6, and I look forward to my friend and I growing old together.

Just hit 350K. Doing the oil change I decided to check under the valve cover just to see. Pretty clean for 350K if you ask me. Still trucking hoping for 400K within 2 years.

I had 170,000 on my 2006 4Runner when I traded it in on my 2014 FJ.
I never had any issues with it, just had to replace the battery after 5 years.

No major issues (crosses fingers)

Had my gas cap seal give out on me 2 years ago. Started hesitating a bit, all sorts of pretty idiots lights for that occasion. A little bit of research and a quick trip to my local Toyota dealer (and $37 later). No more issues.

Had a 3rd gen before this one. Almost 325k on that one. Did 6 months in Cleveland for work, and it pushed the suspension over the edge (really bad roads there). To costly to replace a non 4WD T4R suspension (IMO). Other than that...bad spark plug and replaced a starter that's it.

T4R's are some of the best vehicles on the road. I've even convinced two of my long time buddies to buy them (both Bowtie boys).
