I just hit 225500, and I just think, now I want to keep it just to see how long it WILL go, lol!
Of course, if I did get something else, it would probably be a newer 4th gen, or a 5th gen. Once you get the fever, it's hard to shake.

2003 v8 SR5 4WD with 236k. No leaks, no issues, spacer lift w/ original shocks and springs :thumb:

And it seems like just yesterday 8007m had 570k. Rock on! I would love to see the rest of his drivetrain repaired till the engine lets go to see how long it will truly go.

I just bought a 2006 limited 6cyl with 162,000 miles FOR $13000 cash. 2 weeks ago drove it from new jersey to new Orleans . 1owner ,no kids, no pets, no off-roading, head gaskets were changed with water pump, rotors, etc. prior to me buying it.runs like new.

High Mileage
I just turned over 300,000 miles on my 03' V8 Sport this weekend. I haven't had a lick of troubles with it although the timing belt and water pump will have to be replaced very soon (every 100K). That doesn't sound like a bad deal, I wouldn't sell mine that low but it's in excellent condition. I would have someone check it out thoroughly.

Not the highest mileage in here but I'm happy to post that my 2005 V8 Sport just turned 250,000 miles a few days ago.
At the time of this post, it needs:
Timing belt/ Water pump service
Spark plugs
Radiator
Both lower control arms (camber adjustment is locked solid on both sides)
Tires
Front sway bar links
Both CV axles (ripped boots...been like that for a couple years now)
Just have to get through this winter....

Holy Hell man. Do you have a thread going with what you have had fixed? Not that you would have time to post a lot with all of that seat time.

278k 03 V8 Sport, 6-7k oil change intervals, doesn't burn oil, everything original pretty much (except brake pads, etc, maintanance items), just change tires and oil and go. Impressed by quality of this vehicle (first Toyota).
Reading about people with 250-300 and only basic maintenance makes me think mine was made at 4:59 on a Friday. Never towed, never off roaded, always serviced on time. 93k on the odo and have replaced
-radio ( not because I wanted to, the JBL failed)
-amplifier (same as above about 6 months later)
-water pump (failed at 83k)
-both front wheel bearings
-1 front brake caliper
-Transfer case actuator
-Just ordered a new radiator, mine cracked yesterday
