My 03 has a whopping 54,000. I guess I have some catching up to do!
My 06 was high mileage when I bought it. 203,500
Nice to know there are high mileage ones out there. I just bought an 04 with 203,000 and plan to run it to 400,000-500,000. Doing all the simple maintenance to it. Don't know how they run new but the car is solid.

kind of wish i knew how they run new as well. mine is still a baby, 2007 sport bought it back in january of 2016 with 81,400. did all the simple maintenance, tranny drain and fill, rear diff, oil change. I will change spark plugs and another oil change at 90k. hoping this will last me past 300k. if it goes more, even better.
I bought my 06 new and have since reeled off just over 233K miles. The suspension is starting to feel tired, and I may not have quite the same zip because of larger, heavier tires, but otherwise it still runs as strong as the day I drove it off the lot. I plan to run it until it dies ... and I don't see that happening anytime in the near future.
Depends on your definition of "long distance trip" ... I live in Atlanta and wouldn't (and don't) hesitate to drive it to the Keys right now. So say 800-900 miles. Cross-country ... I'd probably have a certified mechanic give it a once over before I took off.i see 4th gens are your favorite. you own 3? haha i just replaced the shocks and springs. so i know they'll be good for at least another 100k if that. i dont drive hard. but i know i should be replacing the bushings on the suspension when it starts to get slugish. this is probably one of the most reliable cars i've owned. but something just ticks in my head that after i hit 100k, i would be scared to drive it in long distance trips because im not use to a reliable car. but i know it'll be safe well past 200k on long distance trips. would you hesitate to take yours on a long distance trip at 233k? what maintenance have you done to keep it in shape?

Like you, this is easily one of the most reliable vehicles I've ever owned. The other would be the Toyota pick-up I bought back in the late 80's ... there's probably someone out there still driving that thing around. I make sure that normal maintenance (oil changes, tune-ups, brakes, tires, etc.) is kept up on all 4 vehicles and, with the exception of a blown head gasket at 220K on the '06, they have all been exceptionally reliable. I personally don't care for the 5th Gen bodystyle, so I'll keep getting 3rd and 4th Gens until they make something I like.
I just purchased an '03 Sport v8 with 130,000. Just barely broken in!
