I saw a newer tundra that hit 1M, and I think the odometer stayed at 999,999. These odometers should be set to go to a billion.

If I can get my runner from current 150,000 to 200,000, I'll have spent the trucks initial purchase value all over again just in gas.. here's to hoping that the reliability will be worth the 16mpg lol :cheers:

FWIW...if you are going to be analytical about it, you need to examine the DIFFERENCE in MPG between the T4R and a comparable option...otherwise you have to compare the MPG cost it plus the difference in your life of going wihout a car or going with a different transporation method....
THIS. Similar argument as buying Gas vs Hybrid vehicle. The increased cost of the hybrid can outweigh the MPG advantage. Granted a lot of brands hybrids are getting much more in line with their gas counterpart price but you can look at examples like the Infiniti or Hyundai Sonata and see it takes 7-8 years of mileage to save anything and at that point the vehicle has lost pretty much all of its value.

191,000 on my 08 V8. Still on second set of michelins. Did second timing belt and water pump job a few thousand miles ago. still runs like a scalded dog. love this thing
