Highest Mileage 4th Gen?

My 2009 SR5 only has 32k on it so far. My friends have a 2006 SR5 with 224k on it - they said the only major thing wrong so far has been a failed back gate latch. Here's hoping mine lasts as long.

No major work. Just replace tires twice with Michelin LTX M/S 2, spark plugs, struts/shocks, and windshield.

for those on stock original suspension, how's the ride after xxx,xxx miles?

just wondering when the suspension/chassis components need replacement.

I just did the front and rear struts and shocks at 110k with a big difference.

Searching 4runners in my area and this listing made me think of this thread. This is maybe the highest mileage 4th gen most of us have ever seen. Ha, and they still want $13k for it with 248k miles.

And I thought I had high mileage with 190k miles on my 05. He must be doing a lot of highway miles. From the Pic...it looks in good shape...but never know how well it runs from a pic.

I have 99k on my 03

My local toyota dealer has an 04 SR5 4.0 V6 with 261k on the clock and they want 12,999 for it!

2004 V8 SR5 181000 t-belt next week runs great, just fixed P0051 code A/F sensor.I still get 20mpg in mixed driving..

'04 V6 Limited 4WD - 112,xxx

Mileage is 20 City/23 HWY. I've gotten as good as 25 MPG HWY but I think it was due to a pretty good tailwind.:thumb3:

this is a great thread. Reassures me. I just picked up an 03 V8 Limited with 195K KM (~120K miles) and it runs strong. I'm hoping she keeps well for me!

Just an FYI folks, we rolled 290k on our 2003 4Runner SR5 4WD earlier this week.

No major mechanical issues and our poor barely maintained 4Runner hasn't seen the inside of a shop since 150k (and before that, 75k). I do expendables like fluids and brakes myself.

On 4th set of tires I think. Just replaced some Michelin LTX A/T2 that made it 160k.

The rubber weather stripping is really starting to contract and withdraw forming some occasional gaps. I will try reconditioning some time in the future.

Nice, my 04 V6 just hit 226,856 today on the way in. It has totally fubar e-brakes on both sides and some rust above the windshield. Other than that, a trooper.
