My '99 is at about 407k right now. I know there are a few 500+ around here too.

My dad had a 90' T4R with about 390k miles until someone hit him on the side in 2001'ish. His 83' Cressida had even more miles until he struck a dog in the middle of night. His 07' Tacoma has 243k+ now

Most miles 4runner
My 2005 4runner sport has 270,000 miles. I use it to haul my 2000lb cargo trailer for work everyday for the last 2 years and it still runs great. I just make sure to put the trans into 4th gear when hauling.
When the vehicle was under warranty It was taken to the dealership for scheduled maintenance. Now I do the maintenance myself and make sure to change the oil every 5000 miles with good high mileage oil. At 200k I flushed transmission, differential, break, power steering, radiator fluid. I plan to flush all fluids again at 300k.

My '01 just hit 160k yesterday. Time for an oil change tonight and corresponding UOA.
When I was looking for my T4R last fall, I saw a 4WD 3rd gen in NM for sale with 511k. That is impressive.

Agreed, also wondering what the reason for the rebuild was.
Eddie, the engine was rebuild somewhere in the 450k range I dont remember exactly.
The reason for the rebuild was headgasket blew so we decided to rebuild it completely because we were already that far into it.
The truck is my fathers. He bought it brand new and lives in the CA desert near Palm springs so there is no rust what so ever.
