Highest miles you've seen?

1999 Sr5 2wd 387,000 miles!!! Original San Diego, CA, owners, with original engine and transmission, all maintenance records and receipts, lots of maintanance in 24 years, but my God what a reliable easy and fun “ truck” to drive. we call our 4runners trucks . We raised our kids in it and, now my daughter drives it, and wants to renovate it, even though it’s still very presentable, original green paint. I drive a gold 2001 w 269k that I bought from a neighbor a few years ago. They are both still straight and look good.

Dang...thinking selling mine at 160k, but stories like this make me want to keep it.

My 2000 4runner just turned over 300k today. Bought it back in 03 with 30k. Been an incredibly reliable vehicle as expected. All main components r still original including clutch and rear brakes. Have done most maintenance myself. Vehicle has been a daily driver since Wife and I have owned it. Onward to 400k!

Found a 2004 Sport Edition for sale at $3k but it's got 360,000 on the odometer. Looks pretty clean. What'd ya think, thumbs up or thumbs down?

I'm tempted to buy it but that is a lot of miles even though the price is low. I'm sure my wife would be infuriated that I would purchase a vehicle with such high mileage so I may buy it based on that alone.

Bought our 2006 Sport Edition with 175k miles and sold with 260k miles. Replaced shocks, fluids, filters, tires and the like but that's it. Never had any real mechanical failures and had no reservations taking it on long road trips.

Honestly 360k is a lot of miles. Are you ready to do a engine/trans swap? What's been replaced on it before? Was it meticulously maintained or not?

If it was exceptionally maintained....i'd consider it, otherwise i'd pass..
