Highlander for sale on Ebay

This is not my vehicle, but I happened to spot it on Ebay. Doesn't look like the seller knows what he has here. See the last picture of the original window sticker where it lists that it is a 4Runner Highlander.

Of course, it's an automatic and doesn't include the Multimatic T-case, but still...

The radiator looks to be pretty new, or at least the hose. If the radiator is new I'd question why. Hopefully it's just a smart owner who replaced it before it broke, and not an owner that replaced it after it broke.

Someone is going to get a deal on this for two reasons: he doesn't emphasize that it has the coveted Highlander package and secondly, the pictures are poorly taken and don't represent how nice the truck is.

Mislabeling things on Ebay is the best way to get deals, you just have to stumble upon them.

I got a rare Supro guitar for half the value because the title was misspelled and I happened to misspell it myself when doing a search.

The peeling paint on the roof has me worried that the rest of the paint won't be much farther behind. I guess that gives the new owner an excuse for a full length rack to cover it up though haha

Well why don't you add something? Say it's a nice truck, say it looks clean, say someone is going to get a great deal. It's not hard to get 15 posts, I'm not sure why everyone in that thread about the new post count is getting so butt hurt about the new rule. People don't seem to realize that forums require you to give something too, rather than just take which is what most new members do and why a lot of us here will give new members a hard time for some stupid question they posted a new thread about when a google search would have answered their question.

Didn't even read the post so I don't even know what it's about. I'm a new guy that's considering a 4Runner purchase and have some questions. Since I know zilch about a 4Runner, I have zilch to add to any of these posts.

Oh it's not hard to get 15 posts. I did it in like 5 minutes. Still won't let me ask my quesions though. As for being a giver. I'm a big time giver on all the other forums. But until I have something to give, I've got nothing to give. The 15 posts is stupid IMO.

lol it wont allow you to make your own posts/threads because the 15 post rule is for people like you... your post will be up for review and if they are not substantial post or contributing post then you will at the very least be denied and your posts deleted... if not kicked off the forum. try the search function here, you might be surprised with what you come up with. we implemented this rule in part because of people who come here and ask repetitive questions that are easily answered with a little work on their end. but just going around spamming others threads is a great way to get banned before even starting. none of our mods get paid to mod this forum, so a lot dont give a chit and will just ax you without any warning or guidance... be smart and put a little effort into your posts, change them up, add some creativity and some intellect and you will be surprised the help you will get

Do a search. I guarantee every question you could possible ask about buying a 4Runner has been answered here at least once. There's multiple buyers guides out there for 3rd Gen 4Runners. That would get you started. If you know so little about 4Runners then maybe you should do some reading on them. Do you know so little that you can't even post "Nice truck", or "Looks clean"?
