I have a hilux trash bag still in the original plastic bag for sale. Long story as to why I have an extra one but I explained it in a post a long time ago.

trash bag install

I ordered and rec'd a trash bag from Carson and they are great to deal with.
The instructions to install the bag onto the holder are all in Japanese. How do you get the trash bag holder off the center console so you can slip the arms of the bag through?

The loops (dog ears) on the trash bag are velcro'ed to the inside. undo and fasten over the arms and then refasten to the inside of the trash bag

Man - I wish I could find a spot for one of these in my 1st gen Hilux Surf, any ideas where to put it? It's too cool!

I fold my rear seats up and down so much that the trash bag became a PIA so I just hooked one loop to the front passenger seat fore/aft adjustment lever and it works great. It sits right on the floor on the other side of the center console and is easier to just toss trash into know as a bonus.

I must say that I am quite surprised exactly how small this Hilux trash stash is. I had an opportunity to look at Sharp4runner's and its quite small, but does serve a function. I will be buying it from Carson.

Do all of the bags have HILUX SURF written across them like that? Or is it just on one side?

pcblion, I received my bag from Carson Toyota and being that it is a JDM only item, they will arrive with Hilux Surf written across one side (and that is the side that faces the back seat passengers). Very visible.
