decided to run some red lights for my map lights...easy install and good vis while night driving, etc.
finally got some big jack stands
man, that red map light is a great idea!

Hope everyones holding up well. Im thankful to be employed still and found myself
In a spot where i have even need to invest. Home heating system, mortgage, saving and investing in 4runner.
I was talked smartly out of selling it for a jk rubicon. 150k miles. Seems reliable even w wheeling (been a year) Minimal rust and garaged the 3 years ive had it. And the build on it is decent so far. Im thinking nows the time to get 34/35s and wheels, upper control arms, hybrid bumper with warn winch. I figured this is the way to go for my long term needs. Its proved itself wheeling. No payments. Ill be in a spot with it to spend on something major if need be to keep it going for the next 5+ years. I had this lined up against a 2010 jk rubicon or even tj rubicon 100+k $15-20k
The 4runner is rad i think for a comeback now, and i wheel or want to continue

ordered this yesterday
im getting victory 4x4 bitz bumper w tube ordered tomorrow.
i didnt want to ordered on a sat or sun without touching base w them
ordered hawse fairlead plate holder (massachusetts, commies)
got a 22" Rigidline single row lightbar for flush mnt in blitz bumper
by spring i decided to look for load E, 275 70 17, with either oem takeoffs in the +15 variety (or w.e. it is, 12 or 15 offset) or american racing 17x8 0 offset, or methods.
heres to hoping she passes inspection tomorrow
once i pass inspection im cutting off my resonator

passed inspection. new caliper... took sawzall to muffler today. i have a fresh new section with whats left back there, welded by my mechanic a year or two ago. gained a lot of clearance w the resonator gone and planning a possible bumper cut in future as well.
next up is the winch and bumper. then im getting American Racing outlaw 2 17x8 +0 with full size spare in 275 70 17
