Hit and run in my driveway in the middle of the night.

A**H**E!!!!! ugh heard what sounded like a gunshot in the middle of the night, went out front to check it out and didn't see anything so i went back to bed. i put 2 and 2 together in the morning when i woke up for work and here was what actually happened. 9was a couple days ago just getting around to posting pics)

had a question to go along with this. can i use the newer model, body color bumper to replace my old one? or does it have to be the one that's half chrome like the one i have?

You should be fine using other parts.

no insurance won't cover it because i have the absolute minimum coverage it's cool it's tax season. i'd rather change the bumper for the newer model one (like the one my sister in law has on her '03) and change the front bumper along with it. it'll be a refreshing facelift probably paint the fender flares along with that

Ouch, hitting anything above the bumper in the back is going to require some major repair. That part of the body ties in with almost the entire rest of the body

yeah it hurts to look at. the tailgate is off a bit too.

Oh, sorry didn't realize you meant '03. That starts the 4th Gen 4runners.

Those will not fit.

You can fit '96-02.

ouch, sorry to hear, i had a "almost" hit and run in the exact same place.. not as bad as yours, but when i say almost, i meant the guy hit me, left no note, found out after almost leaving the parking lot when a construction worker nearby came up to me and told me a specific truck in the same lot hit my truck. Found the ****er and claimed with my insurance.. i hope all goes well and you can figure something out!

Of course if you're too far away then never mind but I am in Austin Tx if you are near. Hope you get it all sorted out, I have minimum coverage too so I know how you feel.

sorry hers is an 02 (3rd gen) just mistyped. you answered my question, i want the 02 rear and might as well do the front too. then paint the flares, think it really makes the truck look beautiful

i'd be willing to sell. i'm way down in south florida so i'd be shipping at your expense. i'll be in san antonio in feb. but flying in and can't bring it.

see all your neighbors and check surrounding properties

Had a similar incident a few years back at my house.

Go speak with your neighbors-they might have heard it also and seen the offending vehicle. Check around the area-if you're lucky the fool has it parked within sight.
