Hitch bumper bar/step

I'm going to be bringing the truck out of storage and into the city (NYC) later this summer and I'm looking for a hitch mounted bumper bar or step.
I saw the Go Rhino models but since they are only 36 inches wide I'm still worried about the the corners getting nailed.
I'm also looking for the hitch mount to remove it and get it out of the way.
I have a brush guard with bull bar so the front is already battle ready.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Short of an ARB style off-road bumper this is probably what you want. Serious $$$$ though, ouch!

Thanks for the pic. I have purchased Jaos products in the past and it would be very difficult to drop that cash when I could use it for one month of parking in the city or even a new freaking bumper.

I like the look. Any noise issues? I'm assuming you lock that sucker down.

No noise issues at all for me. The hitch step comes with an adjustable anti-rattle device that secures the hitch in to your two inch receiver. It also comes with a hitch pin, but I did replace this with a lockable Master Lock hitch lock to keep it in place.

Need to weld a few 2 inch spikes on the back of that "super bumper" for a little extra protection . . .

From a person who is on rear bumper cover #2 from NYC, I say forget it. You cannot stop the people who cut the wheel to early parallel parking. They hit the outside edge of your bumper on your drivers side below & behind the fuel door. They leave nice scrape marks telling you what color there car/truck is, but then leave. There is nothing you can do short of a full metal bumper that will stop that.

"Edit: See you have a front guard". I had a guy in a minivan one day bump me so hard I spilled my drink I got out and he lauged, he didn't think it was hard at all, I dis-agreed we left it at that because my bull bar didn't care. I feared for the sub-compact car he next parked next to though.

So in the end, the rear: "fear", the front you can protect. Else park in a garage, but I feel its cheaper to replace bumper covers once a year than to pay that cost ($35-$65 per day). I found a guy who will paint them for $150, so for $350 I have a new bumper, stinks but it's the reality, and better than dealing with the insurance hassel.

You are 100% correct on the side impact thing. About a week after this post I walked out to see white paint above the rear tire. The white paint came off with some elbow grease, but they also took off some of the clear coat. It seems I need to come up with a full crash derby cage to avoid this in the city. Or I could just move...
