Hitch Cargo Box

Good afternoon. I have a 2010 Limited and am looking for a cargo box solution. I want something that I can throw a deer on or but a box onto of the rack.

I also want something that won't get ruined by the exhaust, mainly my deer. Also, a swing away is a must. Any suggestions would be amazing. Also, if anyone has some pics, I would greatly appreciate it.

I got the aluminium one from Harbor Freight. I bone-out in the field and put meat in my Yeti cooler, so no exhaust issues. You could make a plywood or sheet metal floor for the rack that would keep exhaust off your kill.

Never had any problems with exhaust issues using the pictured rack. I do not use a box. Wrapped the deer because of dirty, muddy road conditions. One thing you might want to consider is re-routing the exhaust to the side. I've seen some folks on here do that with success.

Hi, what kind of box are you running on your roof rack there? Looks like a good sized unit.

It is the Sport Rack Vista XL. Do NOT pay more than $150 for it. I saw this at Home Depot on sale and paid $129. Think they have it at Pep Boys also.
